Uganda has made gorilla trekking more accessible by increasing permit availability and emphasizing community involvement in conservation efforts. Sustainable tourism initiatives, such as strict regulations on group sizes and behavior, aim to minimize the impact on gorilla habitats. Enhanced infrastructure, including upgraded roads, facilitates easier access to trekking areas. Ongoing research and monitoring efforts provide valuable insights into gorilla behavior and contribute to long-term conservation. Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park is done in Four Sectors which Include Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo. They are 26 habituated Gorilla Families in all the four sectors. A Gorilla Permit in Uganda costs 800$
