Itinerary
Arrival at Entebbe International airport. After clearing with customs, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Safari Chapter who will then transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Overnight at 2 friends beach Hotel (BB)

After breakfast, set off for Murchison Falls about 5 hours Northwest of Kampala. On your way, you will stop by the Rhino Sanctuary (Optional). This is a home for one of the most endangered species in Uganda, ‘The White Rhino’.
It is also among Africa’s Big Five animals. The sanctuary is about 2 hour’s drive from Entebbe. After tracking the white Rhinos, you’ll have a lunch stop over at Kabalega Diners before proceeding to the game park for a fascinating evening game drive. Overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge (LDBB).
PAKUBA SAFARI LODGE is nestled on the Eastern Bank of the Albert Nile in Murchison Falls National Park overlooking the spectacular River Nile. The lodge location affords panoramic views of the mighty River Nile, sweeping vistas of the surrounding riverine forest below and captivating surrounding wilderness where travelers get the chance to sight Giraffes, Elephants, Antelopes and occasionally Leopards that pay regular visits to the lodge. Our tastefully furnished rooms offer comfort, style and serenity.
Rise and shine! Prep for an early morning 6am game drive, look out for Lions, Elephants, Water-bucks, and Giraffes to mention but a few. Watch the sun rise across the vast savannah plain, a memory you will forever cherish.
After the game drive, you will be returned to your lodge for breakfast. Enjoy the afternoon boat cruise on R. Nile, look out for water birds like cormorants, Fish eagles, ducks, Kingfishers, bee-eaters and the shoebill. Other animals like the hippos & crocodiles will also be seen lazing on the banks of the river.
Once you get to the bottom of the thunderous falls, you will then get off the boat and hike up to the top of the falls, where you will have the chance to capture beautiful photos/videos and hear and feel the true might of the Murchison Falls. Overnight at Pakuba safari Lodge (LDBB)
On this day you will wake up at leisure, have breakfast and later transfer to Hoima in the western part of Uganda. Upon arrival in Hoima where you will spend a night at Hoima cultural lodge, you will have lunch and after freshening up, head for a nature walk. Overnight at Hoima Cultural Lodge. (LDBB)
HOIMA CULTURAL LODGE is a perfect break from the long hours’ drive on the dirt road between Murchison falls and Kibale which helps clients rejuvenate for the rest of their journey. After breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spend one nights in Twin lakes and two nights in Ishasha jungle lodge. This drive is about 4 hours, you will then proceed to catch the Mweya boat ride and here you will have a chance to see hippos, crocodiles and many water body animals, and the Kazinga channel that’s connects the lakes Edward and George. this water system has the highest concentration of the hippos in the world. QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK was gazetted as a national park in 1952 as Kazinga national park and later was named after the Queen Elizabeth 11 of England in 1954 to commemorate her visit in Uganda. It also registered as the second largest park in Uganda after Murchison falls national park. Overnight at Twin lakes safari lodge (LDBB).
TWIN LAKES SAFARI LODGE is a rustic and intimate lodge set in the beautiful surroundings of the Bunyaruguru great crater field in Uganda. Located just outside the Queen Elizabeth National Park at 270m above the plains, the breath-taking views of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lakes Edward and George, the Rwenzori Mountain ranges, Sunrise and Sunset are simply amazing.
On this day after breakfast, you will be set for a morning game drive, here you will get to see a number of wildlife animals like the elephants, giraffes and many of that kind, after the game drive, you will go for lunch and then transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth. Overnight at Ishasha Jungle lodge (LDBB).
ISHASHA JUNGLE LODGE
This Lodge is located 2km off Katokye Gate of Queen Elizabeth National Park along River Ntungwe. This is the perfect location for your photographic safaris in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park and a stopover on the way to Bwindi National Park.
After breakfast, you will do a game drive in the Ishasha side of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning. Ishasha is popular for tree climbing tree lions and chances of seeing them depends on your luck of the day. Ishasha has other animals like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and many others. You may also drive to River Ishasha to see the border of Uganda and democratic republic of Congo. Return to your lodge for lunch and after lunch head for an afternoon game drive (optional). This morning you will wake to the sound of wildlife, have breakfast and head to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, where you will have your lunch and spend two nights at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge.
BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK is a home to the mountain gorillas, it also has other primates like the colobus monkeys, chimpanzees and many birds such as the hornbills and the turacos. It is most notable for 350 Bwindi gorillas, half of the world’s critically endangered gorillas. Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge (LDBB).
RUSHAGA GORILLA LODGE
This lodge is located in the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, only 10 minutes’ walk to the park Rushaga tracking gate. It is also close to Nyakagezi and Nkuringo tracking gates. The lodge has several amenities to make in place and this gives its visitors a memorable and comfortable stay. There is a range of options from Luxury cottages to standard rooms. The lodge also has ample parking space that can accommodate all vehicles even on full house. Close to the lodge is the Batwa community and some craft shops where you can buy accessories to also support the them. While here, one can choose to visit Lake Bunyonyi or even go for Golden tracking in Mgahinga national park.
Today, after an energizing breakfast, you will embark on your Gorilla Trek. Before 8 am, you will be driven to the ranger station for registration and briefing by one of the rangers. The guides will then lead you from there. This is a once in a lifetime experience for every traveler. It is exciting but requires a high degree of fitness for one to enjoy and have a good time with the gorillas.
The trek can take anywhere from half an hour to 7 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking boots. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas – sadly enough there are only about 650 of these beautiful creatures left. You are allowed exactly one hour with the gorillas before returning to the base station.
If the time allows, you will have the pleasure of visiting the Batwa community. These are another endangered tribe that live right outside the forest. The forest was their original home. Enjoy the cultural dance and music with the Batwa, visit the women and learn how to weave beautiful baskets. Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla lodge (LDBB).
After your morning breakfast we shall drive towards Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover for lunch and then proceed to the park. While in the park you will get the chance to see groups of zebras, Impalas, topis, giraffes, buffaloes, Elands (An eland is also known to be the largest Antelope) etc.
After checking in at the lodge, with a bit of relaxation you will drive out to embark on a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Mburo to sight of both land and water mammals such as Hippos, Buffaloes, birds in compliment of the scenic views with in the nature of Lake Mburo. This day we will have a night game drive through the park. Overnight at Kigarama wilderness lodge (LDBB).
KIGARAMA WILDERNESS LODGE This is a newly established eco-friendly lodge in Lake Mburo. It is comfortable with a sense of sustainability and responsible environmental practices. It gives the clients and the people in the community to appreciate nature, because of its rustic crafted rooms.
After your breakfast, your guide will transfer you by road to Entebbe. On the way you will have a stopover at the equator for a fascinating equator experience, you will get a chance to take pictures and also do some shopping at the craft shops at the spot. After here, you will have a non-stop journey to Entebbe. Overnight 2 friends beach hotel.
