4 Days Sipi falls village experience

Travel from Kampala to Mountain Elgon area via Jinja and Mbale towns. Lying in the Eastern region at Uganda's border with Kenya, Elgon is Uganda's highest mountain. It was formed as a result of volcanic eruptions that created the world's largest caldera.

On the other hand, Sippi is Uganda's highest waterfall, dropping at 100meters. It has a powerful flow all year thanks to constant supply of water by crater lakes atop Mountain Elgon.

You will begin your community exploration which will include natural cultural wonders, coffee farming and then visit the water falls or do rock climbing and rock abseiling. You will enjoy breathe taking views from the plains and mountains.

You will proceed for trekking on Mountain Elgon where you will take an amazing nature walk. When you look at this place, the first thing that will come to mind is heaven on earth! This volcanic mountain is the second highest in Africa.

Its scenery is pure drama – sweeping panoramas, a mix of V & U shaped valleys, waterfalls cascading down sheer rock faces, tropical forest, and moorland zone filled with giant heathers, bamboo forest. Without proper hiking gear, getting right up to the top of the mountain can be problematic at times especially in the wet season.

After breakfast, you will begin your trip back to Kampala then to the Airport in due time for your flight.
