3 Days Sossusvlei Namibia African Safari

Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be picked up by our guide, and your name printed on an A4 paper for easy identification. Receive your tour documents for your tour briefing just before departing to Sossusvlei. Embark on a Hot Air Balloon (Optional).

Namib Sky Balloon Safaris (Optional)
Hot air balloon safaris are the finest way to see the heart of the Namib Desert. A once-in-a-lifetime event that will never be forgotten is riding in a silent hot air balloon and witnessing the spectacular sunrise over this amazing environment. You land and return to Earth with a Champagne brunch a la "Out of Africa" put up in the middle of nowhere. After giving you a flight certificate, your pilot will take you for a leisurely drive back to the pickup location.

Wake up to your early morning breakfast with a packed lunch, you will visit the Sossusvlei, Dune 45, Dead Vlei, Big Daddy, and Sesriem Canyon.
Dune 45
Dune 45, so named because it is 45 kilometers past the town of Sesriem, is well-known for its graceful shape and for being situated near a road, which has made it the "most photographed dune in the world." Dune 45, which is only 80 meters high and has a considerably softer gradient, is a more forgiving option if you're not up for the taxing walk to the summit of Big Daddy.

Dead Vlei
This old clay pan was originally an oasis, nourished by a river that abruptly altered its course and left the land and the trees it had sustained dry. It was dotted with acacias. The climate was so dry that the trees never withered; instead, they were completely drained of moisture, leaving them as desiccated, charcoal sentinels scattered throughout the fissured surface of the pan 900 years later.

Sesriem Canyon
Sesriem Canyon, a deep chasm carved through the rocks by water, is a striking natural feature of the area that is best explored on foot. Stony walls rise sharply on both sides of the canyon, while birds roost in its crags and lizards dart along the ledges. The canyon’s name was coined when early settlers used it as a water.
